Look who’s coming TWO~!!
September 10th, 2008That’s right we’re expecting baby number two!! The baby will be due May 10 2009. It happened a little faster then Cliff and I were expecting. The good news is I haven’t been sick so far with this pregnancy, fingers crossed it stays that way. We aren’t going to find out what the baby will be again, we really enjoyed the surprise last time and I think we’ll be glad we did it again. Since I have a girl I really can’t imagine having a boy, but am looking forward to a new baby. I think we’re much more prepared this time so here we go again!! Keep us in your thoughts!!
Lordy Lordy look who’s…One!!!
July 30th, 2008My big girl grows so fast.
July 3rd, 2008I can’t believe Corinn is nearly a year old. She’s been really busy, walking and talking, and pointing at everything for me to name it. A little update, Corinn started walking at 9 months and hasn’t stopped. We’ve been spending a lot of time at the pool this summer. Corinn doesn’t seem to mind the water but I don’t think she really enjoys it either, she seems impartial to water. She loves a good bath though. She’s cracking up these days when we tickle her. I can’t say I’ve ever heard a sound I want to hear more then her laughter. We went to Charlie’s Big 3-0 party this weekend. We all had a great time and wish we could see them more. Maybe when their baby comes we can do some play dates. I’ve been planning Corinn’s birthday party and can’t wait to see her eat the cake. I hope to see you all there!!
Super cute baby update.
April 24th, 2008My sweet girl has taken her first step, emphasis on step, she hasn’t done it since. She seems to be having an explosion of new things she can do. She appears to be days away from walking. She can talk, though the vocabulary is limited to Mama and Dada, and of course she will only speak when she wants. She play with my hair and chases the dogs, and thinks that they chase her, when really they are fleeing from her. She also has four teeth, two top, and two bottom, really cute!
We just got back from Michigan, Corinn and Mommy that is, Cliff had to stay home and work. I was really scared about a 14 hour drive with the baby, much to my surprise she did really well. Only falling apart about the last half hour of the drive, which really everyone in the car wanted to do!
I think that’s all for now, I’ll post some pictures soon!
Sick… Sick house….
March 23rd, 2008Ok. We suffered through Corinn’s first sickness. Wow.. who woulda though that much snot could come from such a small child?
Then, last week, we had our first 100+ fever. That was it… no cough, congestion, snot, nothin… just a fever that peaked @ 103+ but under 104. She just sat there… looking at you, or off into the distance at nothing…
Then.. I got sick. Cough, shivers, the whole 9 yards. I felt got better, and then Monday afternoon I felt like the battery drained out. Chris tells me, when I get home, she has a fever too. Mine is 103, hers is 101. She and I just sat there on the couches, while Corinn was happily running around. “Your turn to move…” we kept saying. Miserable stuff.
Try two on those pictures of the swing

Pics from the Swing.
March 8th, 2008Here are some cute Pictures of Corinn at the swing. She’s started crawling and generally getting into and pulling up on everything she can. She a handful now, but she is much happier now that she can get where she wants to go. She’s pulling up on everything and is pretty close to walking.
We’re going to have to figure something out for the rabbit, as Corinn seems to think his poo is a tasty treat. YUCK! The joys of an almost 8 month old!
Ok, so it’s been a while
February 2nd, 2008I know, I know it’s been a while since we’ve posted. Life with a 7 month old is pretty busy. Corinn is really close to crawling and is doing more and more super cute things every day. She started sitting up around 4 and 1/2 months, this made life a lot more fun. These days she’s enjoying climbing Mommy every chance she gets, an Jumping in the Jumping Johnny.
The only source of drama left is sleep. She’s still not sleeping through the night, causing Cliff and I much distress! So this week we started the Ferber method, to help her sleep through the night. The method includes letting her cry for 3 minutes then check on her, let her cry for 6 minutes then check on her… This is hard, very HARD, on Mommy. But the method works. Within two days she’s doing really well. She’s really close to sleeping through the night. Finally!!!!
We’ve also started solid foods at six months. I get to wear more of the food then she ingests, but it’s cute to see her reaction to all the new tastes and textures. Her favorite thing to do is bite down on the spoon and blow so the food lands all over Mommy, this is not Mommy’s favorite thing. I think that’s all for now I can’t wit to post a video of a mobile Corinn.
MMMMMmmmmm Turkey.
November 26th, 2007There have been a few things that went on from the last post.
* Chris had a birthday – thereĀ is some complex math there, I think Quantum.
* I have been given another job opportunity at my current employer.
*Corinn has gone to the doctor for 4 mo checkup (read: more shots) and is healthy. There is worry that her hip socket cartilage is not forming right, coz they click, but an ultrasound did not show that this was the case.
* I have a new Job title, making me a Technical Account Manager.
This last part is new, and is frustrating till I can pick up how things work in this department.
There are some ther things I could write, but needed to get back to work…
Had a great time at Corinn’s first Thanksgiving. Momma had the turkey, stuffing, and sweet potato pie…. while Corinn got the Boobie-juice.
More posts later.
